Q. What is Extended Stay Properties (ESP)?

A. ESP is the best alternative to hotel accommodations for travelers across the country. We will quickly become a nationwide network of motivated individuals, just like you, who can understand the huge need for Temporary Housing Businesses who provide affordable, furnished apartments and homes on a weekly basis. A. Our original Corporate Housing Business was founded in 1996. ESP has perfected the system that provides a very unique temporary housing experience. Q. Do you have to be experienced in the lodging or temporary housing business to succeed as an ESP Licensee?

A. Certainly previous business experience is helpful, but ESP’s intensive training will teach you everything you need to know to operate a successful Corporate Housing Business. Prior to opening your first ESP location, you will receive training, as well as follow-up and refresher training that is made available so that you are always up on the latest trends and developments which can affect your business.


Q. What qualifications must I have, to be an ESP Licensee?

A.

· Strong people skills

· A reasonable understanding of business operations

· Ability to tell people about the service you provide

· The required amount of capital  (we have programs for nearly every budget)

· Previous business experience and/or management experience is helpful but not essential

· A strong desire to succeed in your own business .

Q. What kind of profit can I expect to make on my investment?

A. ESP does not make profit projections or financial representations. We can provide sample information on existing markets but…The Federal Trade Commission and various states offices regulations restrict our ability to provide you with estimated profit figures. Once it is determined that you are serious about investing in the ESP License opportunity we can provide more information as to the substantial income possibilities.


Q. Do I need to devote full time to this business?

A. No, this business was created to be managed by busy people such as single parents, retired couples and others interested in a full time income on a part time basis.


Q. What is the length of the Licensing Agreement?

A. One year with an annual renewal.


Q. Licensing an ESP location can be determined in a number of ways.

A. You may acquire an existing corporate location if they are available in your market. You may acquire an existing ESP location from a current Licensee or Area Developer if one is available in your market. You may find  your own location, however it will need to be approved by ESP. Significant savings can be realized for our Licensed Partners by finding their own location with the help of ESP..


Q. Who negotiates the acquisition of locations?

A. You will make all final decisions about your business. With years of experience, ESP is able to assist you by reviewing and advising favorable acquisition arrangements.

Q. Does ESP help with site selection?

A. Working with our network experts, ESP can provide excellent guidelines to help you select a location within your requested location and according to ESP stringent site criteria.

The choice is driven by the type and quality of the real estate available and the Clientele you want to accommodate. Any location decision is strictly the choice of the Licensee. However, our proven experience can provide guidelines to assist in the process.

· A desirable location will have certain amenities that clients are generally looking for.

· The typical square footage for an ESP unit is 500 to 2600 sq. ft.

· Non-traditional locations can be as small as 300 sq. ft.

· A freestanding house is acceptable along with multiple units.

ESP’s support systems provide the assistance necessary to help you identify suitable sites in your market area.


Q. What is the length of time it takes to build an ESP Business?

A. You can easily have your ESP business up and running in a very short period of time. A substantial income could conceivably be generated in as little as one year.
